Canon launches the EOS M50, its first 4K mirrorless camera
As Canon mentions, the EOS Rebel T7 is the successor to the T6, which means that it will feature upgraded hardware over its predecessor. The camera also has the same upper sensitivity limit of ISO6400 (expandable to ISO12,800) and burst shooting speed of 3fps. The EOS 2000D can also capture Full HD video - Canon's still being a bit coy with 4K video on its DSLR line-up with the exception of the EOS 5D Mark IV. The LCD touchscreen on the back is a variable angle unit and the camera has integrated Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth. The app also provides remote shooting capability, and the option to adjust camera settings so you can take selfies and group tripod shots easily. Battery life is rated at approximately 500 shots.
The Canon EOS M50 will be available starting in April 2018. USA and Aus pricing for all the new products is yet to be confirmed.
In the 4000D we're talking no colour paint on the mode icons, no printing on the buttons themselves, and even a plastic rather than metal lens mount. The other specs are largely the same as those of the EOS 2000D. The 4000D is priced at £329.99 body-only, or £369.99 with Canon's EF-S 18-55mm IS lens.

Canon has officially announced the EOS M50, the first camera capable of 4K video recording in Canon's mirrorless lineup. M50 is also Canon's first camera to use the new CR3 RAW format, which the company says will produce 50% smaller files with the same resolution; however, it may lead to a tiny drop in image quality.
Inside the M50 is a 24.1-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with an ISO range of ISO 100-25600 (extendable to 51200).
The 4K footage only tops out at 24p and the Dual-Pixel autofocus in this mode doesn't work. The camera by itself will cost $780, and it'll also be bundled with an EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM lens for $900 (or with the EF-M 55-200mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM as well for $1249).
