Damian Lillard's Brother Hospitalized After Being Shot

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office has a pretty high profile case on their hands, after Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard's half-brother was shot multiple times in a parking lot on Thursday.

Police are seeking tips to identify the suspects in the shooting.

Two African-American males got in a confrontation with Lillard in the parking lot that ended with the Lillard being shot, according to Sgt. Brian Jensen with the sheriff's office.

After he was hit, Lillard was able to escape. and run into a Macy's Home Store before police say he collapsed just inside the store entrance. The two shooters fled the scene and Jahrell was rushed to a local hospital where he underwent surgery.

The two suspects were last seen running onto Southeast Monterrey Avenue. Deputies have described one as wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and light colored trousers and the other as wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and black trousers at the time of the shooting, which happened the same day that Damian Lillard announced the birth of his son.

Jahrell Lillard remained hospitalized as of 11:30 a.m. Friday and his condition is unknown.
