It sounds like the biggest mystery surrounding the upcoming 25th James Bond movie has been solved.
The level of speculation about the director of each new James Bond movie is nearly as great as who will play the iconic superspy.
Filming is reported due to begin at the end of this year, with the next instalment in the series already given a November 8, 2019 release date.
Boyle made the admission to Metro on Wednesday, confirming rampant rumours that the Broccoli's had appointed the filmmaker the captain of the next Bond boating.
And the 61-year-old also revealed that he is working with John Hodge, who he has co-written with before. "But we are working on them both right now".
