Lingard breaks the PP Arena rules by sliding in on Rashford which didn't go down well
Frank de Boer is the "worst manager in Premier League history" and Marcus Rashford would "lose every game" if he played under the Dutchman, says Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
Later that evening, on BT Sport show Premier League Tonight, De Boer said it was a "pity" that Rashford was playing under Mourinho, that the 20-year-old would receive more playing-time under a different manager, as Mourinho's only focus is gaining a result.
"He can make mistakes but Mourinho is not like that and if he has one or two not good games then he puts him out".
"I meant nothing personal about it, when I said something about how Mourinho plays and about the role that Marcus Rashford has under him at United".
But on the eve of his side's Champions League last-16 second-leg showdown with Sevilla, Mourinho hit back at De Boer, who endured an ill-fated spell as Palace earlier this season during which the Eagles lost four top-flight matches without scoring.
"He was saying it is not good for Marcus Rashford to have to be coached by me".
