DeShone Kizer
This is a move that indirectly impacts the Vikings considering they play the Packers twice a year. Kizer gets a fresh start, the Packers add depth and the Browns are overhauling the position. The Packers and Browns also swap draft picks in the fourth and fifth rounds of this year's draft.
Kizer, who as a rookie started 15 games last season for the Browns, threw for 2,894 yards and 11 touchdowns, but led the National Football League with 22 interceptions. He also ran for 18 touchdowns and just under 1000 yards in those two seasons.
It was clear in his first season, he wasn't ready for the NFL.
But there's one problem. He also played his best game against the Packers-another one of those dual-team connections-a game the Browns realistically should have won. The team could cut him with a penalty of $55,908, but it seems silly to trade for Kizer when you already have a decent backup.
The Notre Dame product had a rough rookie season, as he found himself in and out of the lineup in what would be just the second 0-16 season in National Football League history.
