Apple's new release of iOS 11.3 – offer much more than expectation
APPLE has rolled out a major new iPhone update (iOS 11.3) - and we've got all the details.
On Thursday Apple released iOS 11.3, a free update to its mobile operating system that, among other new features and fixes, attempts to ease iPhone battery management.
Rather, it artificially throttled the performance of the phone in order to ensure that the devices didn't start randomly crashing as they increased in age. iOS 11.3 introduces an option to disable the iPhone battery slow down feature, but is it too little, too late?
The release also comes at a particularly hard moment for Facebook, which is now grappling with a mounting controversy over how it's handled users' personal data. The new release also has a new Health Records feature that lets patients of about 40 participating health organizations view their medical records on their iPhones. The feature will include battery health, battery degradation, and performance analysis of battery. You can search for yours by going to the Medical Records section of the health app. On the AR front, ARKit can now detect vertical surfaces like walls and doors, as well as horizontal surfaces such as floors, tables, countertops and more. For example, movie posters and signs can be made to trigger AR animations viewable through an iPhone or iPad.
Apple is adding customer support conversations to Messages.
