Elon Musk Announces Boring Company Lego Bricks Made From Rock

Errol musk

These are rocks carved out by Musk's tunneling venture, the Boring Company, and shaped for construction purposes.

The Boring company is working on deploying "Loop" and "Hyperloop" transit systems in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Maryland. Maybe Elon Musk should hire me for all my awesome ideas, I'm wasted here at Giz.

The Boring Company is planning to build its vacuum-powered Hyperloop transport systems in a number of U.S. cities, including Los Angeles and Chicago. The material comes from the drilling of the tunnels.

And speaking of the Boring Company flamethrower (or should we say, "not a flamethrower"), Musk told a Twitter follower tonight that the first deliveries would probably be made in May.

Chrome OS tablets are official-Meet the Acer Chromebook Tab 10
The Chromebook Tab 10 is designed for collaboration, while Acer notes a portable design with a textured back in cobalt blue. Never one to be outdone, Google is doubling down on its educations efforts today, and it's recruited Acer to the cause.

The pieces will be "super strong" but not heavy, and they'll have a "precise surface finish", making them able to withstand the elements (and even one of Musk's own flamethrowers).

The executive did not mention a price for the blocks, but he did promise the first kit set will replicate icons of ancient Egypt including the pyramids, Sphinx, and Temple of Horus. Passengers travelling via the loop will move at speeds between 125 to 150 miles per hour, according to The Boring Company's website.

What I really want to know is whether the bricks will have the Boring Company Logo etched in, or will we have to use a sticker and try really, really hard not mess it up?

The Boring Company is already selling a flamethrower. Elon Musk has a history of outlandish-sounding ideas that do make sense when you think about it.
