Elon Musk released a handsome new short video about launching the Tesla Roadster driven by "Starman", a dummy equipped with a spacesuit, in space on the Falcon Heavy, SpaceX's latest rocket. Musk kicked off his quick on-stage appearance with discussing how there are a lot of negative things in the world. Musk, who is the founder of multiple companies, including SpaceX, Tesla and the Boring Company, is tackling some of the biggest challenges and technological advances of the modern age, like space travel and autonomous vehicles.

"There are a lot of bad things happening all over the world, all of the time", Musk said, referring to the launch of Falcon Heavy.

Musk went on to post the video in two parts on his Instagram, while also commented on Twitter that "Life can not just be about solving one sad problem after another". "That can't be the only thing". There need to be things that inspire you, that make you glad to wake up in the morning and be part of humanity. You know, the rocket that carried a red Tesla with a dummy in an astronaut suit. He went on to share that he got to watch the Falcon Heavy launch alongside Musk in launch control, and that he was in awe of the incredible achievement made possible by the contribution of so many people.

Musk said he felt really excited by Tsiolkovsky's ideas around needing to be out there among the stars, and to expand the scope and scale of human consciousness.
