Fire In Baku At Drug Rehab Center Kills At Least 30
Three people were taken to hospital.
A fire broke out at a drug rehabilitation center in Azerbaijan's capital on early Friday, killing at least 24 people, the government said.
A short circuit is believed to be to blame for the blaze at the clinic, which is situated in an old, one-story wooden building. The regiment of rapid response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and employees of the Khatai Republican Unitary Enterprise provided the security of the territory and unhindered work of rescuers. The fire was extinguished at 08.30 local time.
Red alert for snow
