Last week, the chain had a major delivery snafu with its chicken deliveries during the transition from its former product transportation service, Bidvest Logistics, to DHL in mid-February.
While 95 percent of the chain's restaurants in the United Kingdom are back up and running, some of them are serving a limited menu and the popular side is nowhere to be seen for some.
First chicken, now this? The spokesman did not immediately comment on the financial impact and other aspects of the closures.
Shortly after, KFC closed hundreds of restaurants in the region due to "teething" problems at DHL.
"We're working as hard as we can to get this sorted out", said a KFC spokesperson.
KFC apologized to customers for the chicken shortage in a lighthearted ad that reordered the brand's name into "FCK".

WHAT the cluck is going on with KFC?
Earlier this week, it was revealed that some people were so concerned over the chicken shortage they'd even made an emergency call to police. "Their website says the Prestwich store is now open if you want to follow the four police cars through the drive thru", Manchester police tweeted last week.
But the latest shortage also has had KFC customers fuming. In the video, when a man off-camera questions the pretend workers about the purchases, one responded: "Chicken is chicken, you know".
Britons faced new dismay, however, as they discovered a short supply of the savory substance for their mashed potatoes or chicken.
