Xbox One X and Xbox One S will soon support AMD FreeSync displays

AMD has announced that it will be introducing its variable refresh rate technology, FreeSync 2, for Microsoft's Xbox One S and Xbox One X consoles. This is basically a convenience for gamers, as it negates having to go into their TV's settings to enable Game Mode.

FreeSync, like Nvidia's G-Sync, helps remove tearing or stuttering usually associated with gaming on monitors, as the technology syncs refresh rates to ensure games run smooth.
