It's interesting that Jennifer Lee's comment to Huffington Post didn't deny that Elsa was a LGBT character in the upcoming sequel.
I love that people are having these conversations and it would be incredibly cool and progressive if Elsa had a girlfriend in any new Frozen project. Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Universal Orlando Resort and more - they can do it all, and at no extra cost to you!
"Where we're going with it, we have tons of conversations about it, and we're really conscientious about these things", Lee said.
This certainly would not be the first time Disney has hinted at LGBTQIA themes in their projects. If this was to happen, Elsa would be the first openly gay character in an animated Disney film.
