Wallace's 70 elevated him into contention, while Stephen Gallacher went five under for the day and sits one shot behind the leading pair. I'm going to draw from my experiences last week. It was a mixed bag, ? said Shubhankar, who zoomed to the top of the Order of Merit of Asian and European Tour after winning two European Tour titles in last three months. So, I told myself, just hang in there.

Shubhankar Sharma shares the Indian Open lead with Matt Wallace after overnight leader Emiliano Grillo became the most notable victim of a challenging day three in New Delhi.

After three birdies and a bogey in his first five holes yesterday, he led for the first time when he drove the ninth green with an iron and holed a tricky double-breaker for an eagle.

England's Andrew Johnston was at five under alongside Argentinian Emiliano Grillo - who entered the day with a four-shot lead but battled to a 78 - and Austrian Matthias Schwab.

Other Indians: 218: Ajeetesh Sandhu (68, 76, 74); 220: Jyoti Randhawa (72, 72, 76), Anirban Lahiri (72, 73, 75); 221: Khalin Joshi (72, 68, 81); 223: Kshitij Naveed Kaul (70, 76, 77), Karandeep Kochhar (75, 72, 76); 226: Udayan Mane (72, 75, 79).

2015 victor Anirban Lahiri (75) and three-time champion Jyoti Randhawa (76) are tied 32nd at four-over, while Khalin Joshi scored a horrendous 81 to lie tied 37th. Grillo scored three more birdies and one bogey before ending his round. At the eighth hole, Shubhankars approach shot landed at the fringes and he consulted the referee before producing another birdie to go two-under. The 25-year-old Grillo, who started on the 10th hole, got off to a great start with consecutive birdies on holes 11 and 12.

Trump's tariffs get mixed reception in Oregon
China in fact runs a massive trade surplus with the United States. It is impossible to predict how the WTO will rule on that point. The tariffs could potentially have an impact in Northeast Ohio.

Trump signs sweeping tariffs, defying trade war warnings
China, the world's biggest exporter, accused the United States of carrying out protectionism in the name of national security. If the USA leaves NAFTA and all sides raise their steel tariffs, the US would certainly destroy its trade surplus with NAFTA.

Transfer: Neymar wants to return to Barcelona
A move which was more or less forced onto Barca saw one of their most high profile players leave for a huge £198 million. There is also still a pending court case over outstanding bonus payments between the two parties.

At the 10th hole, Shubhankar chipped in from the fringes to produce a downhill putt to move to the lead along with Grillo and Wallace.

Shubhankar ended the day at even par 72, while 23-year-old Wallace finished the third round at two under. Every hole is a double bogey waiting to happen. Despite taking a free drop, he ended up taking six shots to complete the hole. This also made Wallace sign off as the clubhouse leader.

Shubhankar, the highest-ranked player in the field at world No.66, was two-under for the day when he made the turn on Friday but then put his foot on the pedal on the back-nine with six birdies which included a tap-in on the 10th and a 30-feet conversion on the 12th. But the Indian managed to pick up a stroke at the 18th to regain the shared lead.

Wallace had been sensational with three birdies, an eagle in the front nine, besides a bogey at the third.

Shubhankar said one has to play ideal golf as it would be an open contest on Sunday. Shubhankar's stellar show vaulted him 55 places to the second place at seven-under 137 two-day total at the Gary Player layout of the DLF Golf and Country Club.
