Google Contacts can send money via Google Pay Send
Check your respective app store to grab the latest version so as to start video messaging through Duo. When you have a video call not attended or declined, Duo will now leave you with a new option of sending a video message. Google says that like all calls made on Duo, video messages are also secure and end-to-end encrypted. And after you've watched their video message, you can tap the "Call now" button to easily call that person right back. A report from Android Police indicated that a certain user came across the "Send" option on their Google Contacts app.
Google Duo certainly draws the line before the common video calling apps, despite boasting nearly the same functionalities. While Google already provides different ways for its users to send money to each other, it might soon allow its users to send money from within the Google Contacts app as well. There's now no option for requesting funds from a contact, but it's a nice integration nonetheless. That's because calls in Google Duo might not always be planned.

To send money, a user will have to tap on that '$' icon and enter the amount.
The new video messages will automatically disappear within a day after a user has seen it, Google said. According to 9to5google, the alert will advise users to switch to voice mode from video in order to extend the battery life of their device. The app also lets users make audio-only calls. All said and done this is a nifty little feature for Google Pay users.
