Saudi envoy's visit to Lebanon 'positive'
The new Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, Walid al-Yaacoub, and former Saudi Embassy Charge d'Affaires Walid Bukhari will be part of the delegation.
During his four-day visit, Aloula is also scheduled to meet separately with Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Hariri, Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea and Kataeb Party leader MP Sami Gemayel.
According to Reuters, Hariri received an invitation from King Salman bin Abdulaziz for whom he made the special visit.
"Saudi Arabia's main goal is for Lebanon to be its own master, and it is keen on Lebanon's full independence", Hariri said after meeting Saudi envoy Nizar al-Aloula in Beirut.
In November past year, Hariri dropped a bombshell while he was in Saudi Arabia by saying that he was stepping down as Lebanese prime minister, an announcement which sent shockwaves across the volatile Middle East region.

Hariri said he would make the trip "as soon as possible", in a statement issued by his office. "They also discussed the ongoing preparations for the Rome II and Cedre conferences". Despite the school setting, the discussions with the students did not veer away from politics.
