A screen shot from a bystander's video obtained by a Miami TV station shows two men attempting to stop the vehicle of an alleged hit-and-run driver trying to leave the scene early Sunday
Dramatic video footage shows the crumpled silver Infiniti SUV attempting to escape after slamming into six cars in Miami Saturday. He is then blocked by a black SUV.
When the driver of the SUV refused to get out, the men tried to open one of its doors.
A spectacle that played out on Miami's Biscayne Boulevard Sunday quickly made its way to social media as bystanders chased and pummeled an SUV that was believed to be fleeing a hit-run crash scene. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
Police were able to arrest the unidentified driver, according to the Miami Herald. Other drivers can be seen trying to block the vehicle.
The driver remains obstinate in his resolve to leave and refuses to budge from the auto.
Miami police said there were no injuries to any of the drivers involved and despite man's attempt to flee, he was ultimately found and taken into custody.

ABC affiliated Local 10 News reported the accounts of an eyewitness present at the scene.
"That is insane. You have a crash, you stop", witness Anthony Jimenez said.
However, Jimenez conceded that taking out a sledgehammer might have crossed the line.
