Ghana teacher demos Office without computer
Viewers of the post immediately noticed that Akoto had drawn an intricately detailed diagram of the word processing program's interface on the on the chalkboard.
"Teaching of ICT in Ghana's school is very amusing", he says on the caption accompanying the post.
According to a BBC report, Software giant, Microsoft has announced support for Richard Appiah.
On Tuesday, Microsoft Africa replied, promising Akoto a computer and access to educational material.
This appeal was warmly welcomed by the Microsoft Africa team who responded to her tweet by emphasising that "Supporting teachers to enable digital transformation in education is at the core of what we do".
A teacher from Ghana has received worldwide praise after a photo of him teaching students how to use Microsoft Word on a blackboard went viral.
After the images were shared thousands of times online, Microsoft promised to send him new computer equipment. The school doesn't have any computers even though 14 and 15 year old students are expected to pass a national exam with ICT as one of the subjects.
