The Hyundai Tucson is Hyundai's best-selling model in the United Kingdom and Europe, and for good reasons. At the rear, the Tucson gets a new bumper and tail lights.
In the global market, the new Tucson will be available with a 185 BHP, 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.
The most powerful powertrain in this line-up is the 2.0 diesel engine with an output of 137 kW/ 186 PS.
There is also a choice of the 1.6-litre diesle engine which has two power output - 115PS and 133PS.
The platform underneath remains unchanged, and it's a front-wheel-drive vehicle unless specified with the optional AWD. Compared with an automatic transmission, it enhances fuel consumption, Carbon dioxide emissions and performance while maintaining its high shifting quality.

The Europe-spec Tucson gets new 1.6-litre Diesel engine that replaces the current 1.7-litre unit.
The former 1.6-litre GDI is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive, while the 1.6-litre T-GDI can be mated to either a six-speed manual or seven speed dual-clutch transmission and either front or four-wheel drive.
Among technology highlights are a seven-inch information screen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth smartphone compatibility, phone charging, a premium sound system and 3D navigation. For an efficient and comfortable ride from A to B the auto can be equipped with an eight-inch navigation system which offers 3D maps and a seven-year free subscription to LIVE Services including updated information in real time.
A strong safety package will also be offered including autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assistance, a driver attention warning and speed limit indicator. It also has features like 360-degree camera, rain sensing wipers, high beam assist and radar guided cruise control among others. It will go on sale in the US shortly, followed by a launch in Europe.
