BJP's IT cell chief Amit Malviya, whose tweet declaring the Karnataka Assembly poll date before the Election Commission's announcement triggered a controversy, and a Karnataka news channel have told the poll panel that the source of their information was Times Now news channel.
Shah will take election-tour in Mysuru, Chamarajanagara, Mandya and Ramanagara districts on March 30 and 31.
The Congress in their complaint alleged that Shah, along with Karnataka BJP chief BS Yeddyurappa, Union Minister Ananth Kumar and Member of Parliament from Mysuru Pratap Simha, visited the residence of Raju, an RSS worker who was killed around a year and a half ago and offer their respects to the family. Here the saffron party had not won a single seat in the previous election. Though the Royal family had maintained a distance from open political alliance, Shah's meeting assumes significance.
"I have told several times that I'm not interested in politics".
"Had a wonderful meeting with Maharaja Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Rajamatha Pramoda Devi Wadiyarand Maharani Trishika Kumari Devi of the Royal Family of Mysuru", Shah said in a tweet after the meeting with pictures.

He will also visit the famous Nanjanagudu Srikanteshwara and the Melukote Cheluvanarayanaswamy temples.
Shah later left for an interaction and lunch with the Dalit leaders at Rajendra Kalamandira in the city. He has already covered parts of coastal and Malnad, north, and central regions of the state.
The Election Commissioner OP Rawat had announced the election dates during a press conference on Tuesday.
