The arrival of the F-Pace SVR crowns the F-Pace range and underlines how quickly Jaguar has become a serious player in the burgeoning SUV market, despite only launching one in 2016.

The new F-Pace SVR will appear alongside the Jaguar I-Pace and Land Rover Range Rover SV Coupe, which debuted earlier this month in Geneva.

Continuing the theme of saving weight, the F-Pace SVR features an exhaust that is 6.6kg lighter than the standard car's, as well as allowing increased gas flow to reduce back pressure and extract more performance from the vehicle.

Stepping inside the F-Pace SVR, those familiar with Jaguar's luxurious accommodations will feel right at home in the cabin.

. It doesn't hurt that they make the F-Pace look much more aggressive and muscular, too.

This is the Jaguar F-Pace SVR, the first-ever high-performance SUV made by the brand as it looks to exploit the model's massive sales success and capitalise on booming demand for fast high-riding cars.

Around back sits an SVR-exclusive spoiler and new bumper, which houses quad tailpipes.

The 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR debuts on the eve of the 2018 NYIAS.

The SVR exclusivity continues inside with slimline performance front seats featuring enhanced lateral support and improved bolstering, and they're finished off with Jaguar's signature lozenge quilting and adorned with SVR logos on the headrests.

Johnny Manziel thanks Jimbo Fisher for embracing his presence around the Aggies
However, Manziel won't provide a timeline regarding his National Football League return. "I want to say thank you to him". "And if if not, and I don't (get) the opportunity to go back, I'm going to play in the CFL", he said.

Interior color themes include red with black, light oyster with black, sienna tan with black and black with light oyster stitching. (31-cm) instrument cluster display are standard, while 4G Wi-Fi is optional.

It will be priced from £74,835 in the United Kingdom and will be available to order in summer 2018.

However, SVO dynamics manager David Pook said the F-Pace SVR is not an overly firm auto with an uncomfortable ride and offers greatly different characteristics between its driving modes. For what is a performance-spec crossover without the performance? The front and rear springs are 30 and 10 per cent stiffer front and rear, and a revised anti-roll bar reduces body roll by five per cent.

Peering between the spokes are enlarged disc brakes - with 15.5-inch front rotors and 15.6-inch rears - that feature two-piece construction for better heat management and reduced mass.

Beneath the SVR-exclusive hood of this F-Pace sits a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, able to put out a whopping 550 horsepower and 503 lb. -ft. of torque, up 170 horsepower from the previously-range-topping F-Pace S. On its way to a top speed of 176 miles per hour, the F-Pace SVR hits 60 from a dead stop in just 4.1 seconds.

Intriguingly, Jaguar has described the F-Pace SVR as "the fastest and most powerful F-Pace yet", suggesting that even quicker versions - perhaps in the vein of the Project 7 F-Type and Project 8 XE - could be possible.

If for any reason you found the 380-horsepower F-Pace S lacking in oomph - despite a manufacture claimed 5.1-sec run to 60mph (96km/h), fret not, as Jaguar has answered your prayers with the new SVR.
