Lawrence narrated she and her friend Emma Stone were talking into both auditioning for some roles, including one that the latter got.

Australian actress Mia Wasikowska got the "Alice in Wonderland" role, and returned as the character for 2016's "Alice Through the Looking Glass". However, Lawrence admitted she was then used to indie projects, so the film, based on the book of the same name by Suzanne Collins, was a timely opportunity for her.

Jennifer Lawrence's spy thriller film Red Sparrow is hitting the screens worldwide today (March 2).

It's not "Twilight", although she lost that audition, too.

Following on from relationships with actor Nicholas Hoult and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Lawrence revealed she's attracted to "good people" but when it comes to one-night stands she's "all bark and no bite".

Apparently, Lawrence aimed to be in Twilight, a romance fantasy film about a human and a vampire who had to endure all the consequences of their love for each other.

"The one thing that really killed me, like, the only time I've ever been truly devastated by losing an audition. was Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland".

"She was flawless and awesome, and I couldn't have had a British accent", Lawrence confessed. She added that she wouldn't have been able to pull off a British accent anyway.

She's been nominated for four Oscars, and won one, for totally distinct roles since so we don't think there's any worry about that anymore.

The franchise the Lawrence did land, as we all know, was Hunger Games, and Lawrence said that she feared she'd be type cast after getting the part.

This week, Lawrence has opened up about the scenes of nudity in new movie Red Sparrow, admitting that they were an "actual nightmare".
