Jets sign ex Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls
The Jets signed Thomas Rawls, the team announced Friday, just a day after the running back visited Gang Green.
The former Seahawks ball carrier averaged a league-high 5.6 yards per carry (for 830 yards) as an undrafted rookie in 2015.
Rawls will be entering his fourth season in the National Football League, spending the previous three with the Seattle Seahawks where he totaled 1,336 yards and seven touchdowns. His 5.6 yards per carry were tops in the NFL. Since then, however, he has played just 21 games, rushing for 506 yards.

This is just another example of how the Jets are starting to change the culture of their organization, bringing on young, still promising talents that could develop into valuable contributors. After ignoring their offense for a while, they took a 1 year, 4.5 million dollar chance on Terrelle Pryor and it seems Thomas Rawls is getting the same treatment.
