Kelly has been dogged by rumours of sexual impropriety for more than two decades, since he was accused of secretly marrying R&B star Aaliyah when she was just 15 years old. Both artists are signed to the label; Kelly has been on RCA since Jive, the label to which he was originally signed, was combined with RCA as part of the Sony-BMG merger beginning in 2004 (Jive was ultimately shuttered in 2011). Jones also said that Kelly forced the young girl, whom he referred to as his "fucking pet", to crawl around the floor and perform oral sex on him.
Kelly has yet to respond to the documentary. Kelly has in the past denied the marriage. The new accusations follow a BuzzFeed News report past year, which claimed the I Believe I Can Fly singer had brainwashed six women into a "sex cult". His success has waned in recent years, however, and he hasn't had a single in the US Top 20 since 2007.
