Back in January, Lana Del Rey took to Twitter to announce that Radiohead were suing her because her song "Get Free" sounded an bad lot like their huge 1992 track "Creep".

In similar manner, Radiohead knows this situation all too well as they were accused of the same thing with The Hollies' 1972 hit "The Air That I Breathe," when it was found out that "Creep", shared a similar chord progression and melody. Their lawyers have been relentless, so we will deal with it in court'.

Get Free is a cut off Lana's fifth and latest studio album Lust For Life, whereas Creep appeared on Radiohead's inaugural album Pablo Honey.

Del Rey's publicist declined to comment.

Though Radiohead's publisher denied the existence of a lawsuit, Del Rey has now declared the legal mess to be "over". Lana had claimed she had offered the band 40 per cent of the proceeds from the publishing rights to the song, but was turned down as the group wanted 100 per cent. The statement did acknowledge, however, that there had been "discussions" over the similarities between the two songs, and that the publisher had "requested that this be acknowledged in favor of all writers of 'Creep'".

Addressing fans during her set at the Brazil leg of the Lollapalooza festival this weekend, Del Rey apparently confirmed that the dispute had been settled.
