Lagos State Government says it's ready for dialogue on its reviewed land use charge

He also appealed to residents to embrace the Land Use Charges and ensure that commercial property owners pay the charges but explained that pensioners, owner occupiers, NGOs, Churches and Mosques are exempted from the payment of Land Use Charge.

He opines that it is absurd that the Governor is seeking dialogue after its government has deliberately and selfishly created the situation in the first instance.

"We use this opportunity to demand a scrapping of the move by the Lagos state government, by its new tax regime to turn the state into a hell".

He added: "Consultation ought to come before legislation and not the other way round".
