Otta a dalmation is wary after snow falls in Dublin before an expected blizzard
Irish Rail services began scaling back from 12pm this afternoon with all services stopping nationwide at 2pm.
All schools and colleges are shut for the rest of the week, while Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann are staying off the roads entirely today.
They are to review the situation for tomorrow later on today, but significant disruption is likely then too.
There will be "significant disruption" to Dublin Bus services this morning, with services operating on main corridors due to unsafe road conditions.
Their website is experiencing issues and has not been updated so check their Twitter page for updates.
