LG G7 makes an appearance at MWC 2018 along with V35, new watch, and more
So many Android developers are adding notches to their phones now that the Oreo update is expected to support these designs.
DESPITE RUMOURS that LG had cancelled its next G-Series flagship, the firm has been showing off a phone called the LG G7 at MWC. Judy is the codename of the supposed new LG flagship, but this G7 (Neo) has some very interesting specs itself. However, as it turns out, the LG G7 was actually on display at MWC, at least a version of it.
Yes, "the notch", this is another device (I don't know 6th maybe) inspired by the Cupertino giant, Apple's iPhone X in this regard.

It's impossible to say exactly what additional specs and features "Judy" may borrow from this pre-production G7, but in case you're wondering, said specs apparently included 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, dual 16MP rear-facing cameras, a single 8MP front shooter, 3,000mAh battery, and extra-large OLED screen with 3120 x 1440 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio when LG reportedly chose to start over. The G7 (Neo) aspect ratio is closer to the Essential Phone's 19:10 aspect ratio. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, two 16-megapixel cameras in the back, and a rear fingerprint sensor. It is said to offer 64GB of internal storage. The LG G6 is an excellent device, but somehow it didn't click with the fans. LG's mobile business chief Hwang Jeong-hwan said at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) that the LG G6 successor would launch in the first half of this year, probably in June.
Hwang Jeong-hwan told media that the company would focus on ABCD (audio, battery, camera, and display) to regain consumer confidence. We've also heard it won't be called the G7 for starters. The company would not raise "prices because of unnecessary features" that people don't use. It also has a 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant.
Initial preorders in South Korea for the latest smartphones by Samsung Electronics Co. and its smaller rival LG Electronics Inc. have fallen shy of expectations, industry watchers said Thursday.
