Man repeatedly pees in co-worker's water bottle after she rejects him

The 42-year-old woman, who worked with Cruz Perez at Perkins Family Restaurant in Vadnais Heights, thinks the man may have urinated in her water as many as 15 times in the months leading up to October, when she first reported the incident. However, when investigators talked about the possibility of DNA testing, Perez eventually informed the investigators that he urinated into her water bottle one time three weeks before.

The 47-year-old baker initially denied urinating in the woman's water bottle, but later admitted to doing so at least once after investigators told him they might test for DNA, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Newsweek. She noted that the incidents only started after the woman told her co-worker, Perez, that she wanted to remain friends after he expressed an interest in dating her.

Minnesota law allows that crime to be prosecuted as a felony - one punishable by up to 40 years in prison, if it results in the victim's death, or 10 years if it causes "illness, pain, or other bodily harm" - but Cruz Perez's alleged offenses are being treated as a gross-misdemeanor and a misdemeanor.

Conrrado Cruz Perez, 47, took revenge on a woman who turned him down for a date by peeing in her water bottle, according to a criminal complaint.

But police said he later admitted to the heinous incidents after investigators suggested they might conduct DNA testing on the bottle.

Immigration chief: California officials should thank me for removing 'public threats'
He specifically mentioned Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf , who warned undocumented immigrants about an impending ICE raid. Homan said that 89 percent of all the illegal immigrants ICE arrested in the past fiscal year had a criminal history.

He told officers he only did so because he had "to go to the bathroom and the restaurant was busy". He meant to throw the liquid away, he said, but forgot.

"We haven't made any decision at this point", he told the Pioneer Press.

A manager at the Perkins says Perez had been working as a baker in the restaurant but was sacked immediately after the allegations were made.

Last week, when Cruz Perez made his first appearance in court, his attorney, Adriel Benjamin Villarreal, said his client had not yet entered a plea in the case.
