The Seattle Seahawks are trying to trade defensive end Michael Bennett according to a report
Bennett signed a three-year extension in December of 2016. "But it's the time of year, conversations going in all directions".
The Seahawks tried to trade cornerback Richard Sherman, who is recovering from a ruptured Achilles he suffered in Seattle's win over the Cardinals on November 9, last offseason and will likely do so again.
The team is without second- and third-round picks in April's draft, the result of acquiring defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson and left tackle Duane Brown last season. The star defensive lineman is set to count $7.4 million against Seattle's salary cap - but if he's traded by June 1, that figure drops by $2.2 million.
"I am looking at it in that regard", Carroll said.
Los Angeles is coming off a season in which it won nine regular-season games, but missed the playoffs.
