Xbox One news this week includes Fortnite Crossplay and PUBG
The cross-play feature of Fortnite will allow smartphone players to game against PC, PS4, or even Mac owners.
The leading industry in software, especially in operating systems - Microsoft, has just pushed the barrier with cross-platform play in Epic Games' free-to-play battle royale game, Fortnite.
However, the cross-platform play and cross progression will not work between PS4 and Xbox, because, well, we know why. In addition, these features will be added to Android versions in the next few months.
Last Thursday, Epic Games announced that Fortnite will now offer cross-play support for PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, and Mobile.

Earlier this week, Epic Games announced cross-play and cross-progression between the PlayStation 4, Mac, iOS, and eventually the Android when it's released. "Play when you want, where you want". Email invites will start rolling out soon thereafter.
For now then, Epic Games have only revealed the Fortnite mobile requirements for iOS Apple devices. If you don't receive an invite right away, don't worry. Players who receive invites from Epic will also get friend invite codes to share with others.
