News Fire engines respond to Joint Base Fort Myer Henderson Hall on Feb. 27 2018
In the County of Arlington (near Washington), on a military base Myer-Henderson Hall eleven people were injured after opening suspicious emails.
A law enforcement official said field tests for the letter all came back negative for any harmful substance, but the Federal Bureau of Investigation is transporting it tonight to its lab in Quantico for further analysis.
The Corps said Joint Base Police Department officials were working with local HAZMAT teams, and NCIS and the FBI were investigating.
They were treated and released from the hospital late Tuesday night, according to a press release from Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall.
