Murphy Brown TV show on CBS
Today, the network announced Faith Ford, Grant Shaud, and Joe Regalbuto have joined the upcoming Murphy Brown revivial.
Ford will again play Corky Sherwood, the perky former Miss America who Brown had a hard time taking seriously as a journalist. Joining previously-announced returning cast member Candice Bergen, Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto and Grant Shaud will also reprise their respective roles in the reboot.
The original series ran 1988 to 1998.
These additions round out much of the original regular cast, with Charles Kimbrough (now 81) the lone member of the core fivesome yet to sign on. CBS has already committed to 13 episodes of the reboot, which will be set in the present day.

CBS' Murphy Brown revival is slated to premiere during the 2018-2019 season. Shaud will reprise his role as Miles Silverberg, the neurotic producer of the TV newsmagazine "FYI", who often got skewered by Brown's razor-sharp tongue.
Warner Bros. Television, producers of the original series, will produce the new multi-camera comedy with original creator Diane English serving as writer/executive producer through her Bend in the Road Productions banner. The series also picked up three Golden Globes, three Screen Actors Guild awards, two Directors Guild wins and two Writers Guild honours. Bergen won five Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
