"They told us in an email, 'You are pretty girls, we expect you to get attention from these players and they will prey on you, '" she said.

"He kept telling me 'perception is reality.' It was like this photo makes it look like you were going around with players", said Bailey. She said the rules for cheerleaders bans them from being in the same place as players, even if it's by coincidence.

Earlier this week, Bailey Davis was sacked from her job as a New Orleans Saints cheerleader following a series of incidents that included a photo she posted to Instagram.

Davis was sacked just four days later.

Despite making her page private, per team rules, Davis was told the photo violated team rules regarding cheerleaders' attire - the rule prohibits cheerleaders from appearing nude, seminude or in lingerie. Davis denies being at the party in question.

As a member of the Saintsations cheerleading squad, Davis and all other members were required to avoid having contact with any of the players either in person or online, according to both the cheerleader's handbook, and emails and text messages reviewed by the New York Times.

A former New Orleans Saints cheerleader has filed a discrimination complaint against the National Football League team with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

"I hope [the players] are outraged by the fact they're being treated as predators", Blackwell said to Kelly. "But it wasn't until my termination that I realized the players didn't have the same rules".

"For now, it is sufficient to say that Ms. Davis was not subjected to discrimination because of her gender". "The Saints will defend these allegations in due course, and the Organization is confident that its policies and workplace rules will withstand legal scrutiny".

She says she was sacked over a post in which she was wearing a one-piece dance bodysuit, which the team deemed distasteful.

Her EEOC complaint states the team has two sets of rules: one for the cheerleaders, who are all women; another, for the players. "I loved cheering for that team on and off the field", the Sarasota native said.
