The No. 3 Michigan Wolverines will take on the No. 14 Montana Grizzlies during in a first round matchup during the 2018 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

Matthews helped MI (29-7) rally from an early deficit against the Grizzlies, in a game that at times appeared to be a battle of attrition, especially in the second half, when both teams went on extended scoring droughts.

Things went so well at Intrust Bank Arena through the first three NCAA games Thursday that something was bound to go wrong.

MI was 0-4 from the field with 3 turnovers in the game's 1st four minutes. After a Jamar Akoh bucket within the first minute of the second half, Montana would go nearly 13 minutes without a field goal.

After a brief delay, during which time the arena staff presumably turned it off and turned it back on again, the game continued.
