If they had won the ACC Tournament, that might've been the case, but they will settle for the second-seed in Xavier's region. They will face Texas Southern on March 14 at 6:40 p.m., also as part of the tournament's "First Four" games.
The No. 13 Spartans will play No. 4 Gonzaga in the round of 64 at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday in Boise, Idaho.
How they falter: North Carolina is highly susceptible to being beaten from outside and their opponent gets hot from beyond the arc, putting the Tar Heels in upset territory.
