Newcastle boss Benitez said: "I'm sure in these two months he will try to do his best as it's about his future, important for us as a team, as a club - and it's important for him personally".

Benitez is hopeful Newcastle can build momentum going into the final part of the campaign but is wary of an "aggressive" Huddersfield side who are 15th in the league. No chance, I don't agree.

"If we win, it will be a big step", Benitez told a news conference ahead of today's game.

"When you are getting closer to the end [of the season], these games are even more important", he said.
