Vice-President of India Venkaiah Naidu gave the first clap for Balakrishna's upcoming film, tentatively titled NTR biopic. A mythological scene from "Dana Veera Soora Karna" was filmed as muhurtham sequence. A lavish stage was set up with a large throne in the middle.
With honourable vice president Venkayya Naidu as the guest, today the biopic shooting is kick started.
As a part of the launch, Balakrishna dressed up as Duryodhana, fully adorned with jewellery and also wore a large crown on his head. Though normally, presidents or vice presidents don't attend film events, I chose to come because of the respect I have for NTR. But, I made a decision to come because of the respect I have for NTR. I assured him that I will make it to the event no matter how busy I am. "I wish to direct at least one shot in this film". NTR worked for the Telugu people.
