As FOX 11 reported on the legal battle between local nuns and Katy Perry over a Los Feliz convent, we learned that one of the nuns involved in the case collapsed and died Friday during a court proceeding related to the case.
Businesswoman Dana Hollister, who according to the Los Angeles Times, was known for purchasing property in the Silver Lake area next door since the 1990s, allegedly interfered with the transaction by attempting to preemptively purchase the house from two nuns. Perry had offered $14.5 million for the property.
The singer's deal was scuppered by the move.

The jury deliberated for an entire day on November 17 before reaching its verdict against Hollister for slander of title, interference with contractual relations and interference with prospective economic advantage.
Katy Perry, meanwhile, is busily promoting ABC's reboot of the singing competition American Idol, on which she is a judge.
She was 89 years old.
However a crackdown by the archdiocese followed.
