A Pennsylvania state lawmaker who says a fellow lawmaker pulled a gun on her and threatened to kill her has gotten a restraining order against him.
The restraining order bars Miccarelli from having any contact with Toohil or being where she lives or works, according to a story that appeared late Friday afternoon in the Citizens Voice.
Miccarelli, 35, has not been charged with any crime and previously denied the allegations, calling them "complete fabrications" in a March 1 Facebook post.

Fellow Republican state Rep. Tarah Toohil alleges he threatened and abused her, allegations that he denies.
In a story about a complaint she and the political consultant filed with the House that was first reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer and The Caucus on February 28, the women alleged Miccarelli had sexually or physically assaulted them and engaged in other abusive behavior over the past six years.
In his emailed statement, Keel said it was "shameful" for Toohil to seek a restraining order without notifying Miccarelli or allowing him an opportunity to be heard.
Toohil did not immediately return messages seeking comment.
"She knew Nick was recently married". "It's unconscionable that Toohil would abuse the PFA process in this way at this time, knowing the shame and embarrassment it would bring to Nick and his new family".
"The only minimal contact the two even have at this point in time is when they're carrying out their official duties at the State House", he added. After she broke up with him, Miccarelli publicly released the photos, Toohil wrote.

Both of Miccarrelli's accusers are clients of the firm Mutchler started with Charlie Lyons, and are speaking out after Miccarelli on Facebook addressed the me-too movement targeting abusers, writing, "The me-too stuff is really hard to read. We must face this issue together", Mutchler has said.
"Defendant has severe mental health issues and has threatened to kill me in the past", she wrote, according to a copy of the document obtained by the Times Leader. "But there were awful moments that were non-consensual at the hands of Rep. Miccarelli".
"It has taken me years and years to identify that I, myself, was a victim of this violence". The lawyer told the Philadelphia Inquirer that Toohil indicated to her that Toohilshe chose to go public because "as a public official, I believe that I have a duty to step forward to protect other women".
Toohil continued to Miccarelli's defense "just continued abuse of a victim".
The complaint alleges that Miccarelli hit, pinched and verbally abused Toohil and blackmailed her with photographs.
"I have been silent for fear that when this story is released he will kill me, himself and others", she wrote in the PFA request. Miccarelli, 35, lives in Ridley Park, Delaware County, and represents the 162nd district.
The last publicly visible post on Miccarelli's Facebook page, viewed Friday evening, was dated February 27, in which he updated his cover photo to show a knight with a sword facing opponents approaching on horseback.
Republican and Democratic lawmakers have both called on him to resign amid the allegations.
