German Embassy Ratification of demarcation crucial for visa liberalisation
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has called on Kosovo to ratify a border demarcation agreement with Montenegro and seek better ties with Serbia.
Jean-Claude Juncker came to Bulgaria at the end of his Balkan Tour, together with the European Commissioners Federica Mogherini and Johannes Hahn.
The discussion focused on the individual progress of the Western Balkan countries in the process of integration, which is a valid principle affirmed in the Strategy, as well as on how to make the time before important events such as the EU-WB Summit best used both by the Region and the EU.
Juncker stressed that no accession date was promised but that it could "possibly happen in 2025", if all the criteria are fulfilled.
Earlier on February 28, Juncker urged Bosnia-Herzegovina's leaders to overcome their differences if they want the country to join the European Union.

Albania and Montenegro are already members of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, while Macedonia is likely to be offered the chance to join the US-led alliance, often seen as a springboard to European Union membership if it can overcome a dispute over its name with Greece.
