PUBG Xbox Update LIVE Server downtime following by new patch- here’s what it does
PUBG developer Bluehole has suffered a major setback in its battle to eliminate cheats.
The PUBG Help Twitter account tweeted this morning to say that "despite [the patch's] effectiveness in blocking cheats, we have made a decision to roll back our latest server update".
The latest PUBG Update that rolled out for PC is now back in the hands of developers until they figure out the issues that are causing the players to experience crashing and errors messages in the game. Following the update, players will be able to use 12 different emotes; PUBG Corp. says it will further expand the system with more emotes in the future.
The rollback happened yesterday - if you noticed a small update to download before getting into the action on PC, that's what it was: Bluehole hitting undo. "We apologise for the inconvenience".

To combat the issues, Bluehole has made a decision to roll back the update. This PUBG Xbox update is #10, and it includes a host of fixes that was introduced by latest patch.
Beyond those new features, the update fixes a number of bugs, including one that would cause players to instantly die when vaulting or climbing. Other issues addressed affect parachute deployment and several in-game sounds.
There's still no sign of the Miramar map on Xbox One, with Bluehole confirming it will release in early spring.
