Vandalism referencing Billy Graham devil discovered on South Carolina church
Thousands of people paid their final respects to Reverend Billy Graham on the first day of his public viewing at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte. Malefyt, a now retired minister living in Greenville, said his encounter with Graham at the Boston Commons was the first of many interactions he had living in the vicinity of the acclaimed evangelist. He'll be there through Tuesday at 10 p.m.
Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, visited Graham's home earlier in the week. Graham's funeral is on Friday.
Former President Jimmy Carter will also not be attending the funeral.
Graham will lie in repose at the library until Wednesday, when his casket will then travel to the U.S. Capitol rotunda in Washington.
Clinton arrived in Charlotte on Tuesday and was escorted into Graham's boyhood home where his casket sits.
