'Queer Eye', 4 Other Unscripted Series Renewed By Netflix

If you absolutely adored watching home bakers without much experience try to bake complex, multi-tier cakes in the shape of sharks and unicorns, sometimes to unexpected success, but often times to hilarious (but good-natured) failure, then you will be pleased to hear that the Netflix baking show Nailed It! has been renewed for a second season.

Dope will debut its second season on April 20, but the other shows have not been given premiere dates.

Drug Lords tells the stories of history's most notorious kingpins, their terrifying enforcers, and the men and women who've sworn to bring them down.

They really "Nailed It" with this group.

Queer Eye is a modern reboot of Bravo's Emmy Award-winning reality series Queer Eye for the Straight Guy which launched in 2003 and ran for five seasons on the NBCUniversal-owned cable network. "They elicit so many emotions from viewers, from tears of laughter to tears of joy - and that's just Queer Eye". A repeat of that general timeframe for 2018 is probably a safe bet for Season 2. Norman Lear, who created the original series, will be back as executive producer, joined by fellow producers Michael Garcia and Brent Miller. ITV Entertainment also produces the series with David George, David Eilenberg, Adam Sher and Jordana Hochman serving as Executive Producers. Drug Lords is produced by ITN Productions.

"Nailed It!", hosted by Nicole Byer and Jacques Torres, features home bakers with a awful track record who take a shot at re-creating edible masterpieces for a $10,000 prize. Season 1 of The Toys that Made Us kicked off by delving deep into the story of the Star Wars movie IP-transforming toy empire, followed by Barbie, He-Man/Masters of the Universe and G.I.

Released in February of this year, Queer Eye's first season is, without a doubt, one of the best-known antidotes to a continually chaotic and depressing news cycle.
