Real Madrid's Gareth Bale impressed in front of a watching Jose Mourinho

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Premier League campaigners Manchester United reportedly submitted a world record fee of £100 million for them to land Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.

Bale has struggled with injuries since his move to the Spanish capital, with the past two seasons being arguably his most hard period at the club.

Bale had been a regular in the Madrid team and winning trophies during that time, so there never appeared to be any substance to the rumours, as the Welsh forward seemed happy in Spain.

Since returning from injury in November, the player has struggled to cement a spot in Zinedine Zidane's starting XI, despite some promising performances.

When it emerged that Wales boss Ryan Giggs had told Gareth Bale, his star player, to only drive one vehicle from now on, the initial understanding may have been that was in relation to not wanting the Real Madrid superstar to come across as a "big time Charlie".

"Gareth Bale in from 5/2 to 5/4 to join Man Utd before September 3rd after reports in Spain claim Bale has been "convinced" to join United by Jose Mourinho", a Betfair statement read. The United manager is said to have finally convinced him to join the club, after originally trying last summer. Real Madrid have told United they want £88million (€100m) for Bale, while the reigning European champions also hope for a similar favour from United going forwards and should they fancy signing any of the Red Devils unwanted stars.

And now, according to AS, a move back to England is on the cards for the 28-year-old as Real Madrid are ready to sell Bale this summer.

According to The Times, "Giggs advised Bale to use one auto and make sure the seat, its height and specification are set up properly for his body".
