The Houthi movement that controls northern Yemen vowed on Monday to fire more missiles into Saudi Arabia unless it stops bombing the country, after missiles crashed into Riyadh overnight causing casualties in the Saudi capital for the first time.
The Saudi-led military coalition said Yemen's Houthis fired seven missiles into Saudi Arabia from Yemen, killing an Egyptian resident in Riyadh, state news agency SPA reported.
The Qatari-owned network Al Jazeera hosted a Houthi commander few minutes after seven Yemeni missiles were intercepted by Saudi forces.

The fighting has seen Iran-backed Shiite Houthi rebels pitted against Yemen's internationally recognised government, which is allied with a Saudi-led military coalition.
According to the United Nations and other sources, from March 2015 to December 2017, 8,670-13,600 people have been killed in Yemen, including more than 5,200 civilians.
The United Nations says living conditions in the war-scarred country have reached catastrophic levels and that 8.4 million people face imminent starvation.
