Sega accidentally released a glitched demo of Yakuza 6 that included access to the full game
The original plan was to make Yakuza 6's demo available for players, who could then download it, play it, and if they made a decision to purchase the entire game when it was released next month, they'd keep their progress. To help promote the game, Sega released a demo version of Yakuza 6 on PSN this week, but to the surprise of many, players ended up unlocking the full game for free. As a result, SEGA chose to remove the game from the PlayStation Store demo as quick-minded users discovered how to unlock the full free version of it. "Thank you for your patience". As of writing, if you've already started your download of the demo, you're able to continue downloading. Yakuza 6 releases in the West on April 17th on PlayStation 4. With the demo likely making a reappearance sometime soon, Yakuza fans around the world will be able to get their hands on an early look at The Song of Life... this time, the way Sega intended.
As of now, there is no information of when Sega will re-upload the demo for the Yakuza 6 for the US players.

Sega is investigating the problem, but the company's statement may explain why the demo was such a huge download. Sega tweeted the following message to address this. Playing the demo will allow you to progress part way through the main story, the sub-story, as well as earn EXP and fill your inventory. Song of Life, players will play as Kazuma Kiryu, an ex-yakuza who has just served a three-year sentence in prison and finds out that his surrogate daughter, Haruka, has been left in a coma as a result of an hit-and-run accident.
