Police arrest 2 after crash on Second Ave. West
An Ohio police officer remarkably escaped serious injuries this week after he was dragged by a suspect's auto during a traffic stop.
Arrested were Aaron Dela Cerna, 24, and Jessie Gomez, 37. If their suspicions bear out, the street value of the seven grams of drugs that they seized would be estimated at $1,500. Police say Dobbins managed to escape from the back of a patrol vehicle and fled while handcuffed, but he was found a short distance away and was re-captured following a struggle.
Initial investigation showed that Dela Cerna used to study engineering before he got involved with the illegal drug trade.
