Kareena Kapoor says son Taimur will be"an Iron man one day
Being the son of two of the most popular actors in Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Taimur was born in the spotlight. Both Saif and Kareena were massively trolled for apparently naming their son after the cruel and ruthless Turco-Mongol conquerer Timur, also known as Amir Timur or Tamerlane (since Taimur sounds similar to Timur).
She was in conversation with senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai on "The Kapoor Clan: Films, Family and Feminism" with her sister actor Karisma Kapoor at the India Today Conclave in Mumbai.
"Now I do not like the fact that Taimur's every move is monitored... and people even talking about his hairstyle and all... I mean, he is just 14 months old". Not that the trolls mattered, because the night before I was going to the hospital, Saif asked me, "If it's a boy, are you sure you want to do this?"

I said "no, Taimur means iron and if I give birth to a son, my son is going to be a fighter, I will produce an iron man". The netizens were busy crushing over the first pictures of the little munchkin until the news broke that Saif and Kareena have chose to name their little bundle of joy - Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi.
