President Trump to Rally in Pennsylvania's 18th District
Saccone faces a tough race against Democrat Conor Lamb in a Pennsylvania district Mr. Trump won by 20 points in 2016. As NPR's Scott Detrow reports, Trump seemed thrilled to be back in campaign mode. In fact, according to CNN, Trump delivered only "about five minutes" of what had been scripted. He singled out NBC's Chuck Todd as a "sleeping son of a bitch".

At the same rally, Trump made several comments of the sort that led pundits before the 2016 election to predict he'd do poorly with female voters.

To cheers and laughter, Trump hurled some old and new slurs toward his opponents as he complained about his media coverage and perceived Democratic obstruction.
But late in the speech, Trump grew impassioned when he began discussing the opioid epidemic, and said he'd recently asked leaders in China and Singapore about their problems with drugs and addiction. "It could happen, it doesn't happen", Trump said of the meeting. "He'll say, 'You know the Chinese and Filipinos don't have a drug problem". Trump spoke at a rally in support of Republican Rick Saccone. Of course not. Instead Trump shared his views on everyone Trump related.
He explained, "Oh I'd love Oprah to win, I'd love to beat Oprah". "I would love it". Elizabeth Warren, with his racist nickname for her, "Pocahontas". He also avoids criticizing Trump.

Saccone took his turn to praise Trump, saying the president has already proven he supports families in the region with legislation including The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
Keep in mind the last person Trump offered a similar "endorsement speech" for was Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.
But for nearly all of his 75-minute performance in front of a raucous crowd packed into a hangar, it was in-his-element Trump, vintage 2016: rambling and fiery, boastful and jocular - the part of being president that he loves perhaps the most. Moore lost the general election in a stunning upset to Democrat Doug Jones.
Murphy, an eight-term congressman who had union support, never had a close election and had no Democratic challenger in his last two elections. "When you catch a drug dealer, you've got to put him away for a long time". Trump is not only an unpopular president with an approval rating as low as 35%, but he's also a polarizing figure who inspires people to come out to vote against the GOP. Recent polling shows a close race between Saccone and Lamb in a district Trump carried by almost 20 points in 2016. As Trump described it: "They announce they're not sending any missiles up ..."
