2nd Test Day 1 Kagiso Rabada runs through Australia to put South Africa on top in Port Elizabeth
Speedster Rabada bowled Warner for 13 for the first breakthrough in Australia's second innings, then let loose a scream right in the face of the high-profile Australia batsman, as South Africa started to take a stranglehold on the match on Day 3 in Port Elizabeth. Finally he broke a stubborn 87-run partnership between Usman Khawaja and Mitchell Marsh when he trapped Khawaja in front of his stumps for 75 in the penultimate over of the day. For South Africa Kagiso Rabada destroyed Australia innings by taking five wickets so far.
Australia lead the four-test series 1-0.
Again, on Saturday, Australia felt the match slipping away with AB de Villiers and Faf du Plessis coming together at the crease with the tourists' first-innings lead evaporating.
De Villiers and Philander held firm thereafter, though, and will hope to add significantly to South Africa's now slender lead on day three.
South Africa were the same, with Dean Elgar and Hashim Amla scratching out an 88-run partnership in excruciating fashion.
De Villiers reached his century soon after with an audacious shot over the slips as he was joined by Maharaj, who swatted at the Australian bowling to score 30 off 24 balls before he was bowled by Josh Hazlewood. That left South Africa with a target of only 101 to win the second test and level the series with matches to come in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
An ICC release said he had "made contact with Steve Smith with his shoulder" after dismissing Australia's captain on Friday.
Rabada had his hearing for that incident after the third day's play and the International Cricket Council is expected to announce a decision on Monday.

According to PWInsider , Matt recently taped a long-awaited "Ultimate Deletion" match with Bray Wyatt at his North Carolina home. Jeff was reportedly tested for alcohol, but as of this writing results for the test are still pending.
Then Rabada struck for the third time in the innings. He received a further 15% fine of his match fee and an additional demerit point bringing his total to nine.
AB de Villiers has opened up about the nervous 90s, brutal burnout and the "embarrassment" that stung South Africa into action against Australia.
And two South African cricket officials face internal disciplinary procedures after they were photographed smiling with a group of fans who were wearing masks aimed at taunting Australia vice-captain Warner and his wife, who is with him on tour. Rabada could be next to be punished.
South Africa is in bat according to the latest news.
But the day belonged entirely to the South Africans and De Villiers, in particular, who felt the home team had to hit back hard after the debacle in Durban last week.
The 22-year-old Rabada has dominated Australia, claiming the fourth 10-wicket haul of his 28-Test career.
De Villiers wound back the clock in Port Elizabeth on Sunday, completing his first Test century in more than three years.
ABD faced criticism for opting to play franchise cricket over Test cricket in the last few years. "I take no pleasure in seeing a player suspended, particularly a young player of Kagiso's talent, but he has now breached the ICC Code of Conduct on a number of occasions", said Jeff Crowe of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees.
